Swype Beta for Symbian supports English US, Spanish, French and Portuguese so your writing language has to be set to one of the four languages. More languages will be supported in the future.

You can even teach Swype new word by simply tapping it in letter by letter. E.g. word “Apps” add by tapping in A-P-P-S, then pressing the space key.
