Create and scan codes – BeeTagg QR Reader turns your mobile phone into a code scanner.

Supported content formats:

• Link – Codes encoded with a valid url are considered to be Link codes.

  E.g. http://mymobstuff.com

  Main action: Open the browser with the predefined url.

  Other actions: Save the url as a bookmark, save it to Favorites.

• Text - QR Codes or Datamatrix that encode plain text are considered to be Text codes.

  E.g. Hi, this is your treasure hunt code: 4XX3FC2

  Main action: Show the encoded text.

  Other actions: Copy & Paste text, send text (email, sms, bluetooth), save it to Favorites.

• SMS (Text message) – QR Codes or Datamatrix that have the format smsto:001234423422:Hello are considered to be SMS codes.

  Main action: Send SMS with predefined text to a predefined number.

  Other actions: Call encoded phone number, save it to Favorites.

• Contact – The BeeTagg QR Reader recognizes the vCard, MeCard and Biz-Card formats encoded in QR Codes and Datamatrix.

  Main action: Add contact to your phone's contacts.

  Other actions: Save to Favorites and if fields are available: Call contact, send SMS, send Email, visit or bookmark the website.

• Event (Calendar) – The BeeTagg QR Reader understands the vEvent format encoded in QR Codes or Datamatrix.

  Main action: Save event to the phone's internal calendar application.

  Other actions: Show event details, save it to Favorites.

• Geo (Map) – QR Codes or Datamatrix that have the format geo:47.35856,8.5542297 are considered to be Geo codes.

  Main action: Open phone internal map application. In case none is available it will open the browser and show the map online.

  Other actions: Save the location as a marker in the available map application, save it to Favorites.

• Call (Tel) – QR Codes or Datamatrix that have the format tel:0041787388838 are considered to be Call codes.

  Main action: Make a phone call to the encoded phone number

  Other actions: Save phone number to contacts, Copy & Paste the phone number, save it to Favorites.

• App Market - QR Codes or Datamatrix containing a link to an app in an application store (market). Currently supported for Android market, BlackBerry App World, OVI Store and iPhone App Store.

  Main action: Open application store on the phone.

  Other actions: Save Email to contact on the phone, Copy & Paste email address, add it to Favorites.

• Email - QR Codes or Datamatrix that have the format mailto:info@connvision.com are considered to be Email codes.

  Main action: Send an email to the encoded email address

  Other actions: Save Email to contact on the phone, Copy & Paste email address, add it to Favorites.

• GS1 Datamatrix – Datamatrix codes with the official GS1 Datamatrix encoding. Currently only in German speaking countries available.

  Main action: Find product

  Other actions: Save to Favorites.
