Spore Origins is a mobile game that allows players to try to survive as a multicellular organism in a tide pool, with the ability to upgrade its creature. A section is completed after the player eats a certain amount of DNA material from other life forms.

Spore works in full screen and its complete touch based game. Spore game works in two modes: Evolution and Survival.

In Evolution mode, touch and hold to move and quick tap to eat targeted creatures. Eating smaller creatures will fill the DNA bar at the top of the screen and allow you to proceed to the next level. Eating also fills the heart indicators at the top of the screen and increases your size. If larger creatures touch you, you will take damage and shrink in size. Stay away from larger creatures until you are large enough to eat them.

In Survival mode, touch screen to move, touch power-up icon at the top left to activate power-up. Your spore is always moving and your health does not regenerate between levels. Avoid all creatures and pick up food to heal damage and fill your DNA bar. Grab power-ups to help your spore survive.
